Large Black Moor Goldfish

The Black Moor Goldfish is a great companion to other Fancy Goldfish. They are social animals so best kept in groups in a large coldwater aquarium. Black Moor's are also quite messy so good filtration and regular water changes are recommended.

Ease of care
Easy. We recommend having at least 30 litres of water per Goldfish. A lot of waste is produced so an adequate filter and pump are needed. They do eat plants so you can use plastic plants instead, for decoration. They must never be kept in unfiltered tanks.

Diet
Flake & sinking pellets are best. High Protein fish food when they are breeding. Sinking Pellets are best to help prevent swim bladder issues.

Compatibility
Community with other peaceful Fancy Goldfish & bottom feeders such as a Borneo Loach in cold water tanks.

Breeding/ Sex
Moderate. They are egg layers and breed best when in groups as they are very social.

They can live up to 10-15 Years in perfect conditions.

BEFORE DELIVERING THIS FISH - PLEASE READ
All livestock will be delivered using APC Courier - the only delivery company in the UK licenced to carry live fish.

Combined postage and packaging for live fish is £16.95 or FREE for orders above £100.
Please check the AVAILABILITY (displayed in green/red above price) for estimated delivery timescale.
Once your order is placed we will contact you to arrange a delivery date.
Delivery of live fish can only take place between 8am and midday on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday via APC Courier.
Please ensure you supply a valid mobile contact number and email address upon checkout to avoid delay.
Please be aware that APC will not ship live fish consignments when overnight temperatures are near or below freezing.

We guarantee livestock for a period of 24 hours from receipt, afterwhich they are your responsibility to care for. Please be aware of the following criteria before you buy:

You must follow our acclimatising guide (provided in package) to safely introduce your fish.
Any losses must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Photographic evidence must be supplied in all cases.
Settlements for claims will be offered as store credit only.
We cannot accept the return of any aquatic livestock.
Shipping and packaging charges are non-refundable.
